How to read the result
Current stack total = six category costs + other current costs. Retained external tool total = retained and unknown category costs + other retained costs. Projected stack total = selected subscription + retained total. Monthly difference = current − projected; a negative number means the projected stack costs more.
A non-zero unknown cost or an exceeded contact limit makes replacement validation incomplete, while preserving the cost arithmetic. Zero-cost unknowns do not establish functional equivalence.
